I see the enemy infiltrating today's churches, deconstructing the fundamentals of the Christian faith and adding ideas like social justice. There are those who want to believe Jesus isn't enough and a Jesus plus cultural theology is ready to satisfy their appetite.
Thanks! I don’t mind you sharing at all. We need good discussion and debate.
I used to think demons could be in Christians, too.
But two things changed my mind.
First, my experiences helping people who were demonized. Christians would often tell me they had demons in them, because that’s where the demons said they were.
But the devil lies.
As we got rid of them, it became very apparent they were not in these people, but rather tormenting them from the outside. One demon finally admitted it when pressed to give the truth as it will stand before the Throne of Jesus.
They kept lying because they wanted Christians to feel defeated. If Christians really believed that a demon was inside them, they would act like it. They’d feel defeated. They’d feel powerless. They might even act out in demonic ways.
But it was all lies.
Second, I searched the Scriptures when I started experiencing these things.
I found that after the Resurrection of Jesus, there isn’t a single time a believer wrestles with a demon inside them. The only post-Resurrection exorcism done by a Christian is Paul with the girl in Acts. She isn’t a believer, but she annoys Paul, and he casts out her demon.
But among believers? Not a single exorcism.
Even in all the letters to the churches, which cover so many topics of theology and church practice, there isn’t a single mention of how to cast out a demon from a believer. It just wasn’t a thing.
I find this to be true in communities where believers know they can’t be possessed by demons. There are no demonic manifestations. It just doesn’t happen, because they know it can’t.
It’s only lies. The devil lies about possessing Christians. And Christians who don’t know the truth believe the lies, and act as though they’re true.
Hi. I'm going to sign onto my husband's amazon prime account and download your book from Kindle Unlimited. I would be honored if you'd give The Rebel's Hike a try, too. It is spiritual warfare on the kid level, with the Gospel also presented. All adults who have read it have loved it, too. I'd love to get your input and help (commenting on posts on our site). Somebody with the background of spiritual warfare would be such an asset, even if we don't agree on everything. That's part of what I hope people will learn; that answers take a while, but to keep pursuing truth.
Thank you! The Rebel’s Hike is the book and Continues is the Substack where it can be discussed, along with other Christian links etc., and reader input as to the ongoing plot. Still at infant stage in terms of subscribers.

Hope you don’t mind me sharing what I think about this topic.

Sounds good! I just subscribed. Is there a difference between The Rebel’s Hike and The Rebel’s Hike Continues?
