In the meantime, I wanted to take a moment to share something with you from my primary job, serving in Swift Hope.
My wife and I run a ministry called Swift Hope in which we offer free counseling, prayer, and help to hurting people, especially leaders in the church. We get to watch God transform people every day. Jesus is the Healer, and He loves to meet us in our brokenness and transform it with the life, hope, and love He alone can offer.
With today being Giving Tuesday, I’d love to share our latest newsletter with you — both to share the stories of what God is doing and to invite you to join with us in this journey of healing hurting people.

It’s December and God is still changing lives!
As we enter Giving Tuesday, I wanted to take a moment to share the story of how God has led us this far, and where He’s taking us next.
In early 2023, God called Cassie and I to start a non-profit to provide Transformation Prayer to the growing opportunities He kept giving us. Neither of us had ever wanted to start a ministry, but God’s calling was clear. We stepped out in obedience, not knowing what awaited us.
God had already been opening doors for us to minister to people beyond our local church. As we launched Swift Hope, God opened more and more doors, connecting us with leaders all over the country who needed help. Connections spread by word of mouth, as people whom God healed told others in need of healing.
Through partnerships with churches and ministries, especially Pulse, we now minister to leaders in 30 states in the U.S., as well as leaders in Germany, China, Ukraine, Brazil, and Native American communities.
We get to watch Jesus change lives every day. Nearly every appointment is a change life — trauma gets healed, addictions break, doubt is cleared away, future direction is given, relationships are restored, ministries are revitalized. We’ve watched Jesus transform hundreds of lives since we started two years ago, with no signs of slowing down!
As we look to the future, we’ll continue this work — bringing healing and transformation to those in need. As God increases our capacity, we’ll increase the number of people we help. There are a lot of hurting people out there, and we want to help as many as we can.

Stories of Hope: Jake
Note: while Jake’s name has been changed, he gave his blessing to sharing his story.
Jake was experiencing a crisis of faith.
He had been raised in church and always believed God existed. But life had gotten hard. Really hard. Thoughts of quitting the ministry and just doing “normal work” had frequently come to mind.
Doubts emerged. It wasn’t so much “Does God exist?” but “Where is God when I need Him?”
When Jake sought to hear from God during Transformation Prayer, several barriers swiftly appeared. Jake was bitter at God; at one level, he didn’t want to hear what God had to say. At another, he was afraid that God would confirm that He didn’t care, that He chose to abandon Jake.
But as each barrier was highlighted, Jesus spoke to them. One by one, the walls came down.
Finally Jake was able to hear from God, and receive a message he knew, but desperately needed to hear: “I love you.” God spoke a second message, as well: “You can relax. I’ve got you.”
Jake left the session at peace with God for the first time in years. The distance between him and God had evaporated. He felt close to God again, revitalized in his faith.
Rather than thinking about quitting the ministry, Jake felt renewed determination to serve the God who had just healed him.
