Question: What if I think prayer is boring?
Prayer is boring — if you think nothing will happen.
But, if you know that God will answer (because you won’t stop until He does), then prayer becomes one of the most exciting parts of life.
Essentially, how you feel about prayer tells you what you really believe about prayer.
No matter what words come out of your mouth, or what theology you claim to believe, if the thought of prayer doesn’t spark any joy or excitement, you don’t really believe God will answer. If prayer feels like nothing, it’s because you believe nothing will happen.
But if you know God will answer, how could prayer ever be boring?
If you know that you can connect with the God of the universe and ask Him anything, how could prayer possibly be stale?
When you grasp the promise of persistence, knowing that God will answer because you’ll keep knocking on the door until it opens, prayer becomes electric.
Prayer becomes dynamic — the power by which you can change anything.
Prayer lets you change someone’s life. Prayer connects you with Someone who always, always pours love into you. Prayer clears your mind, calms your pulse, expands your dreams, raises your hopes, broadens your smile, sharpens your thoughts, and quickens your resolve.
Prayer is how things get done.
Prayer is how the world changes.
Prayer is how lives transform.
Prayer is how Heaven comes to Earth.
Kyle, what should I do if I pray and often ask God for something, and I see that He gives it to me, but for example I still have some doubts about it. Maybe it's a coincidence, not God
As if I believe and know that God helps me, but there are still some doubts in my head, although I don't want them to be, but I can't drive them away.
Maybe it's because I've always been used to skepticism and checking information.
If I have such feelings, won't God reject me and what I ask for in prayers, because my faith is not complete? Although I want it to be complete
